FAQ
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes! If your wedding or elopement is on my destination bucket list, you could be eligible for a discount!
Will there be a second shooter?
Completely up to you! For a full 10 hour day, it is a minimum of $400 for a second shooter. If you only want a second shooter for a few hours, we can talk more on the details!
Is there a deposit?
For weddings, there is a nonrefundable $500 deposit required upon booking. For all other shoots, there is a $75 nonrefundable deposit.
What kind of gear do you use?
I use a Nikon Z8 and a Nikon D7000 for my digital setup! My film camera setup varies, but typically the Minolta X-700 for 35mm portraits,
What are some add-ons?
Add-ons could include having film paired with digital during your shoot, a second outfit and/or second location, or extending your shoot time!
Can I do a payment plan?
Absolutely! We can talk the details and work it out however is best for you! All payments for all shoots are due by the day of the shoot.
What is your turnaround time?
For weddings, I give myself 4-5 weeks, but try to get them out much sooner! For all other sessions, I give myself 2 weeks, but also try to get those back much sooner.
Disclaimer on Film:
Shooting with film is always taking a chance. It's never a 100% guarantee that a roll will turn out perfect. Sometimes issues happen during film loading or even during the developing that could cause issues with a roll.
Why the upcharge on Film?
Film is a very physical process, from having to buy a new roll each time, to shipping it off, and developing costs at the lab. The upcharge covers these expenses!
What if I'm looking for something you don't have offered?
Still reach out to me and let's talk! Typically shoots that you don't see displayed are because I don't do them often enough to advertise or have a huge portfolio for! (Ex: Boudoir, Branding, Products)
What are your travel costs?
This depends on several factors such as how far the location is, if I have to fly or drive, if I have to get a hotel, and if I need to rent a car!
